Children in Estonia have had to pay a high price to survive the recession. By now there are 23,000 children living in deep poverty, which means that the family has less than 69 euros a month to cover the child’s expenses. These families lack money to buy decent food, to pay for firewood, fix their roof, not to talk about paying for children’s hobby groups or school trips.
No child in Estonia should grow up in poverty. With the help of good donators we have been able to provide these families with the most essential things, but there is yet much to do.
